Media will have an opportunity to cover the Secretary of Defense’s speech to the troops as well as a question and answer portion between the Secretary of Defense and the U.S. service members and JSDF only.

レオン E. パネッタ米国防長官 横田基地訪問 報道関係者取材申請案内

レオンE. パネッタ国防長官は長官就任後、初の日本訪問の一環として陸海空軍、海兵隊、沿岸警備隊員および自衛隊員に敬意を表すため１０月２４日に横田基地を訪問致します。表敬訪問は１７時４５分より横田基地にて行われます。

報道関係者には国防長官から軍人へ向けた談話と質疑応答（米軍人と自衛隊のみ）の取材の機会があります。

取材希望各社は１０月２１日１５時までに全員の会社名、氏名、所属部署、タイトル、生年月日を含めた下記情報を電子メールにて在日米軍司令部広報部報道担当宛usfj_media@usfj.milへ送付ください。（スペースの関係上、新聞各社２名まで、テレビ各社３名までで社内で調整の上代表者が一括して登録してください。車両は一社一台でお願いします。事前登録のある車両のみ駐車が許可されます。それ以外は入門できません。）基地アクセス他詳細は当広報部より電子メールを頂いた方宛に取材許可の確認として送付いたします。
