U.S. and Japan Air Self Defense Force aircraft conducted a bilateral exercise to reaffirm our commitment to respond to any situation in the defense of Japan.
Our shared readiness further strengthens the deterrence and response capabilities of the U.S.-Japan Alliance in a critical security environment. USAF F-16s and JASDF F-35s and F-2s flew in formation together over the west coast of Japan on Oct. 31, 2024.
