U.S. and Japan Conduct Bilateral Integration Air Exercise

SEA OF JAPAN —

On Nov. 18, U.S. Forces Japan and Japan Self-Defense Forces aircraft performed a bilateral integration exercise. 4 U.S. F-16 fighters from Misawa Air Base and 4 Japan Air Self-Defense Force F-15 fighters integrated over the Sea of Japan, highlighting the readiness and deterrent capabilities of the U.S.-Japan Alliance while exemplifying our nations' ability to quickly and decisively respond to threats against Japan. The U.S. remains committed to peace and prosperity throughout the Indo-Pacific alongside our Japanese allies, together acting as the cornerstone of peace and security in the region. Our bilateral commitment to the defense of Japan remains ironclad.
