Kadena Air Base F-15 Crash

KADENA AIR BASE, Japan - An Air Force F-15C Eagle crashed at about 0626 today in the waters south of Okinawa. The aircraft was conducting a routine training mission. The pilot was the only person in the aircraft and successfully ejected. Search and rescue crews have responded and successfully recovered the pilot.

A board of officers will investigate the accident. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.

嘉手納基地のF-15機が墜落

嘉手納基地 – 2018年6月11日、午前6時26分頃、飛行訓練中の米空軍F-15Cイーグル戦闘機が沖縄本島南部の洋上で墜落。機体に乗っていたパイロット1名は無事に脱出した。捜索救助隊が出動した。

調査委員会が事故の調査を行い、追加情報が得られ次第追って提供する。
